    • Document all systems, processes and procedures in the Operations Manual.
    • Regularly review and analyze all systems, processes and procedures; identify any inefficiencies; and provide solutions.
    • – I ask questions such as “Does this make sense?”, “Is this the best we can do?”, “Is it efficient and on time?”, “Is it on budget?”, “Is it cost effective?”, “What is the return on investment?”, “What is the customer retention rate?”, and “How can we improve it?”
    • Coordinate all processes so that the organization and/or all vendors/parties act as a unified whole.

    • Motivate and coordinate others and ensure teamwork occurs
    • Stay up to date with state and federal statutes to ensure all operations are compliant.

  • Real Estate Business
  • I have devoted a page to my skills pertaining to my current job as an Executive Assistant in Real Estate. My four key roles are in my current job are:

    • Listing Contract Manager (Listing to Purchase Contract)
    • Transaction Coordinator (Purchase Offer/Contract to Closing)
    • Marketing Director
    • Administrative Manager

  • Small Business Finances
  • I believe it is very important to stay within budget and to watch the bottom line; however, I do not rely solely on logical thinking when it pertains to finances. I view critical thinking as equally important. One of my favorite sayings is “Don’t step over dollars to pick up dimes.” I believe there are a lot of businesses that miss out on opportunities for growth because they chase after those shiny dimes and don’t notice all of the dollars they are stepping over and leaving behind in the process.

    • Knowledge of business tax deductions for sole proprietors and corporations
    • Excellent math skills
    • Bookkeeping
    • Profit & Loss Statements, Cash Flow Statements and Balance Sheets
    • Plan, prepare & maintain the budget
    • Track costs and ROI; perform financial analysis & revenue and cash flow projections
    • Generate quarterly & annual financial reports
    • Manage bank accounts and credit card accounts
    • Pay federal and state payroll taxes online

Communication, Relationship & Teamwork Skills

  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communications Skills
    • Excellent written communication skills
    • Electronic media writing skills with an understanding of it’s sensitive nature
    • Informative and persuasive writing skills
    • Excellent verbal communication skills
    • Excellent presentation skills
    • Speaking to small groups (10-50 people)

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills
    • One of my favorite saying about dealing with others is “People will forget exactly what you said and did, but people will not forget how you made them feel!”

    • Sensitive/empathetic to others needs and feelings with a deep respect for all people
    • Develop a rapport with both coworkers and clients/customers
    • Resolve conflicts by listening and expressing empathy, appreciation and understanding
    • Skilled at evaluating options and generating solutions that result in a win-win outcome
    • Strong work ethic – honest, professional, respectful, and dependable

  • Teamwork Skills
    • Build and manage successful relationships with management and coworkers
    • Collaborate well with others by clearly communicating my ideas, listening to others ideas and asking questions for clarification
    • Positive-minded person – energetic, optimistic, and grateful. I believe everyone writes their own story (or at least 99% of it). If you don’t like your story, change it. I often think of the message and meaning in the Serenity Prayer – to accept, to change, and to have the wisdom. Learn to deal with and accept the 1% that you don’t have control of and be grateful for everything you have. I try to influence the attitude of others and often use tactful (and yes, sometimes dumb) humor to lighten certain situations.

Customer Service

  • Outstanding customer service
  • Outstanding client service
  • – I regard customer/client satisfaction as highly important and am very serious about ensuring it. I am very aware of the cost between acquiring a customer verses retaining a customer. I also think that while it is very important to deliver outstanding customer service and to keep track of customer satisfaction, it is even more important to stay connected to your customers. Customers need to remember who delivered their outstanding experience not only so they return but so they refer their friends and family.
